1. System specification
A lot of the issues happen if your workstation is not strong enough to run House Flipper 2. Before you move to the other steps of the guide, first check if you meet the minimal requirements. You can find all the necessary information about your system on the Steam platform.
Start Steam and in the upper left corner you can find a tab "Help". From the dropdown menu choose "System information, as in the screenshot below:
2. Game logs
When you contact our Support we will ask you to provide the “logs” files: Player.log and Player-prev.log. Simply put, those files include all information about accidents that happen with your game and we would need to take a look into them to help you. But where to find the files?
Here’s a path to their location
%appdata%\..\LocalLow\Frozen District\House Flipper 2
You can find both file folders easily. Just press the “Windows key” and “R” and paste the path from above in the Run box. Like below:
It will open your House Flipper 2 folder. Look for the following files:
If you don't see them in the folder, it means your game isn’t up-to-date. Please update the game through Steam and look again for the files.
If you want to send files to us.
Copy and paste files in a different location for safety reasons. Compress all copied files in a single .zip file and attach it to the support request. Don’t forget to add a description of the bug or problem you met in the game.
3. Game saves/profiles
Sometimes after contacting our Support, we might ask you to make some changes in the folder with your game saves and profiles. Here’s a path to where to locate them:
Windows -> %appdata%\..\LocalLow\Frozen District\House Flipper 2
