Don’t forget to back up your Profiles folder before changing the game files.

The easiest way to solve it is to verify the integrity of game files. Steam can do it for you and check if you haven’t lost any game files or if your version of the game is up to date with our recent fixes.
Go to the Steam Library. Right-click on the House Flipper icon, then Properties and tab Installed Files. From there choose the option Verify integrity of game files.
As the last resort try deleting and reinstalling the game on a different drive or with a different directory. Don't forget to back up your profile first!

Firstly, check if your PC meets the minimum requirements of the game shown on the House Flipper Steam Store page. Keep in mind that the minimum requirements to run the game increase with more DLCs and they may change after any update.
Then you can try to reduce your setting values to a minimum and check if it improves the situation and how big of a performance boost can be seen (that's some valuable info)!
If you meet the requirements, you can try one of these tricks:
1.) Verify the integrity of game files. Steam can do it for you and check if you haven’t lost any game files or if the game is up to date with our recent fixes. To do so go to the Steam Library. Right-click on the House Flipper icon, then Properties and tab Installed Files. From there choose the option Verify integrity of game files
2.) Make sure your graphics card drivers and system are up to date.
3.) It might be that recently subscribed items from the Steam Workshop have slowed your PC. Try unsubscribing them.
4.) We also recommend using the Task Manager (pressing Alt+Ctrl+Del) to monitor your GPU load. In the game’s Settings and later Graphics tab you can lower the in-game FPS Limiter to keep your GPU load under 90% at all times. However the lower you set your FPS limit, the fewer frames per second your graphics card will produce. Thus the game won’t run so smoothly, but overall you will give your graphics card some room to breathe and reduce the load.
5.) Try running House Flipper in a DirectX 10 mode: After you click the green button Play in the game tab in your Steam Library, mark the option Play HF (use if the first option doesn’t work, old Dx10).
6.) In case of a black screen on startup try pasting a command --skip-logo in Steam launch options for House Flipper: Go to Steam Library and right-click on the House Flipper icon then Properties. You can see "Launch options" at the bottom.
7.) As the last resort try deleting and reinstalling the game on a different drive or with a different directory. Don't forget to back up your profile first!
If even that won’t help, feel free to contact our Support here -> Support Ticket. In the ticket attachment, you will be asked to add your “logs” files. Here’s the tutorial on where to find them -> Where are my system information and “logs” files?
Alternatively, report the issue in a separate thread in the "Bugs & Crashes" subforum.
